A blend of 50 different Crus, Grand Brut expresses the quality and diversity of the Perrier-Jouët winemaking tradition. Its assemblage creates a balance between the consistency of the Perrier-Jouët style and the effects of the climate of the year.

With 12 to 20% of reserve wines added, Grand Brut is dominated by the elegance and finesse of the Chardonnays (20%) from the best vineyards in the Côte des Blancs.

The delicate structure is brought by the Pinot Noir (40%) primarily sourced from the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne, but also from the best Crus in the Aube region such as Les Riceys.

Pinot Meunier (40%) from the Vallée de la Marne brings harmony, fruit and roundness to the wine.

“The Grand Brut cuvée is the flagship of the riches of our House” - Hervé Deschamps, Cellar Master”

ORIGINS

Founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët in the heart of the Champagne region, the Perrier-Jouët House has gathered and looked after exceptional vineyards (classified 99,2% on the Crus scale) over the years with a preponderance of Chardonnay, perpetuating its expertise rooted in the region’s finest winemaking tradition. Hervé Deschamps, the current and 7th Cellar Master, perpetuates Perrier-Jouët's floral, stylish and dimond-cut distinctive style. The iconic Belle Epoque cuvée is the perfect expression of the Perrier-Jouët style and reflects the exceptional quality of the House's wineyard and know-how. Belle Epoque is enhanced by a remarkable bottle, specially designed for Perrier-Jouët in 1902 by French Art Nouveau artist Emile Gallé.
